Description
Washington Post: Live News is intended to reduce setup time and leave more room for reading current stories and topic-based updates. It should feel most relevant to readers who want news in a portable format, although a first-time user may benefit from trying the core control before evaluating secondary choices. Its description in the provided store data gives a clearer picture of the intended interaction, so the points below stay close to that record. Video handling appears in the tool description and may involve playback, recording, or editing. Someone opening it for the first time can begin with one straightforward action and learn the remaining controls gradually. Washington Post: Live News will make the strongest impression when reading current stories and topic-based updates can be completed without unnecessary detours. The app itselfeal is practical: launch it with a purpose, finish a worthwhile action, and come back only when it is needed again.

Outstanding
The app content is garbage. "alleged gunman?" He is a man, and he had guns. What is alleged about that?
Newest update 4/17/26: Messed up comment section. Does not show all of comment, cuts off "comment" to click for posting. Just buggy. But I still love WaPo despite...
I love reading the Post. I feel like I'm home. I don't like that your Amazon owner got rid of a lot of your wonderful staff
I'm not sure if this is an app or a server side change, but comments are screwed up. A giant step backwards. Fix the comments ASAP
excellent
Once upon a time, I'd have given this app 4.5 stars, but everything has gone off the rails since February 2026. I'd complain inside the app, but it simply won't stay open; it fails within seconds of opening, if it opens at all. Android's error message said the app is incompatible with an Android program, but I don't remember what it said. Besides, I've got a Galaxy S25 Ultra that's 100% updated, so I assess that it's 100% WaPo's problem to figure out what's wrong with their app.
love it, the best way to pick up great English for a non native speaker and also stay up-to-date on all things America and the workd
