if I do much as touch an ad - not click, just touch while scrolling, it redirects me to that site. bad behavior. stop it

It is literally unusable. If I opt out of ad personalization, the app doesn't let me open it whatsoever. It gives me an error.

I get sports alerts even though I don't care anything about it and it's not selected for my preferences.

The ads are ridiculously touchy and make it almost impossible to scroll through the news feed without opening them.

one of the few real news apps left. they link to their own news stories you can read. not videos. not links to other sites. not ads. you know real news. I can find that other stuff in any search engine.

I enjoy AP but these super long vertical ads that open other apps while you try to swipe past them are just too much. They honestly take up the entire screen and are impossible to avoid. I can no longer recommend this app. 👎
