Within 20 minutes of joining , Vinted permanently suspended my account with no warning...for listing a Christian book. Their A.I. flagged it 'counterfeit ( it wasn't) and auto suspended my account. An appeal led to more A.I. responses claiming thier decision was final, but gave no reason for why they think a Tyndale book is counterfeit. I only wasted 20 minutes on the platform, but if thier site is run by rogue A.I. , not humans, they can keep it. Don't waste time on this A.I. site.

Disgraceful customer service, 0 protection for sellers. Only installed because there is no exzcr alternative for this absolute no mans land of marketplace

Number of items added has disappeared from search screen - why?! For example I used to be able to see that 4 new items had been added to a specific search. This made it easier for me to know when to stop scrolling through the listing. Also meant that I knew whether it was worth looking at that specific search today etc. Now all I see is a blue dot if something has been added. This isn't appealing at all

The app allows dropshippers to create AI-generated pics and listings of Shein dresses. Reporting this practice does nothing, since apparently, it's "not against community rules".

The so called "Buyer protection" fee when making purchases does not protect you from dishonest sellers. You can buy an item that is not as described ( damaged etc) but be exposed for shipping costs both ways, only receiving a refund on the price of the item. I am in Ireland, shipping a shirt or similar is over €7 from France and another €10 to post it back, seller under no obligation to refund you postage so I can be at least €17 out of pocket. Colours in photos cannot be relied on either.
