I keep getting spammed Quips notifications I don't care about despite turning off notifications for them, had to unsubscribe from someone I've been supporting for a while because of this and am not impressed with Patreon not disabling them like I told it to.

I have specifically turned off notifications for previews of content not included in my membership, however, it seems like doing this has only made these notifications appear more frequently. It is very annoying to get a notification thinking it is for something that I have access to, but it turns out to only be a glorified advertisement. I would rate the app 5 stars if something was done to fix this.

Unpolished User Experience. Considering it's the only option premium content from most creators, you would think they'd have a better UI for navigating. There is also random issues with specifically video playback that arise with no indication as to why (not Internet issues, I checked). There is also basic functionalities that should be expected in an app as big as this one such as Timestamp references in comments or a simple watch history. Too many minor inconveniences that add up quickly.

It feels like each update makes the app worse. If they aren't breaking a quality of life feature, they're changing the UI, making it harder to read and/or navigate. Edit: changed the UI again. Now it doesn't show the number of comments on a post, and the comments themselves are less readable, you have to click again to see all comments, and they show a worthless list of "similar" posts after the comments.

the app lags, won't download it takes days to download load a video. I just signed up for my first patreon membership and I all ready regret it. the website is fine, but trying to use the app on my phone is horrible.

app crashes every time I try to message someone. this seems to be a consistent issue.

(1) Payments are always a nightmare. Every debit and credit card declines them because they test account details and pull pledges from different countries. (2) I hate using the app to comment or chat because when I accidentally rotate my device, everything I've typed gets erased. (3) Creator content will often not show up in the app: just a blank page.

It's a Great site.
