I've had this app for more than a decade. I've paid for it on Android, iOS, and desktop. It is worth every penny. First download on any new phone. Kudos to a team that keeps making it better.

how can I use this with Gemini assistant to resume in progress, matk as played, etc. is that in the beta version? gemini assistant has a connector concept so voice can control apps like picket casts. There's a connector for Spotify and You Tube music which do not have strong podcast control like Pocket casts. i want to resume, pause, switch podcasts by voice while driving.

Best Podcast app so far, heavily using the smart filters, playlists, auto-archive, auto-skip and pretty much all the features it has. I finally feel like I am complete when it comes to podcasts.

On rare occasions it skips the entire episode im currently on while the screen is off. I don't have custom media actions enabled so its probably not that.

Great podcast app with excellent functionality and design. However, the "more actions" icons on the now playing screen do not have the same design aesthetic. Sizing, line thickness, and shading vary, which spoils an otherwise great design. Also, not a fan of being forced to use Gravatar for a profile icon.

recently, after i downloaded episodes and added them to my playlist, they were unplayable and removed from my playlist before i tried to play them but the unplayable episodes remain

It has a very annoying bug where sections of podcasts often get repeated and so the end of the episode might get truncated- at first I thought it might just be sloppy editing but it happens too often on different podcasts so it must be a Pocket Casts issue

buggy and obviously not even used by the devs yet another reason to ditch Android

reordering the up next section, you'll drag an episode to a different spot and it just snaps back to it's precious spot. this has been a thing for at least a year and no fix. super frustrating and wastes time
